Self-Drive & 4x4 Hire
Explore Zanzibar at your own pace with a rental car or 4x4 vehicle, with flexible pickup and drop-off options.
Freedom to Explore
Renting a car gives you the flexibility to discover Zanzibar's diverse attractions on your own schedule. From Stone Town's historic streets to remote beaches in the south, a self-drive trip puts you in control of your adventure.
Flexibility
Create your own itinerary, stop at viewpoints that catch your eye, and linger as long as you like at each location. No fixed tour schedules or group constraints.
Access to Remote Areas
Reach secluded beaches, hidden coves, and villages that are difficult to access by public transport. The east and south coasts are particularly rewarding with a rental vehicle.
Cost-Effective for Groups
For families or small groups, self-drive can be more economical than multiple tour bookings, especially for a 3-7 day stay.
